O filamento Ultrafuse 316L do fabricante BASF é um filamento de impressão 3D bastante específico. Não se trata de um simples filamento projetado para revelar uma aparência metálica, mas sim de um filamento que permite a produção de objetos 100% metálicos em 2 etapas.
Este filamento Ultrafuse 316L é revolucionário, pois permite a produção de peças sinterizáveis usando impressoras 3D FDM tradicionais. A sinterização é um processo de alta temperatura que separa a estrutura plástica do metal. Este processo de sinterização derrete o metal, permitindo uma ligação forte e homogênea.
Este processo de impressão em 2 etapas começa com a impressão da peça sinterizável (chamada de peça verde), seguida pela intervenção de um prestador de serviços para a etapa de sinterização. Esta combinação de um filamento altamente técnico e um prestador de serviços externo permite minimizar os custos de produção das peças metálicas sem a necessidade de um grande investimento.
Impressão de metal acessível: Este filamento 316L (nomeado pelo aço inoxidável do qual é composto) desenvolvido pela BASF, é o primeiro filamento que permite a impressão de uma peça metálica sinterizável. Acessível para a maioria das impressoras 3D do mercado, este processo de impressão em 2 etapas é rápido, eficaz e de baixo custo.
Boa impressão: Este filamento altamente composto é desenvolvido com uma matriz plástica que permite uma boa deslizamento do filamento, extrusão eficiente e uma forte ligação entre camadas, apesar do alto teor de metal.
Método de sinterização otimizado: Este filamento Ultrafuse 316L facilita o acesso a uma solução específica de sinterização para este filamento. Através da aquisição de cupons dedicados (1 cupom = 1 quilograma de peças sinterizáveis), o acesso à solução de pós-processamento é simples e rápido.

O filamento Ultrafuse 316L exige configurações específicas. É fortemente recomendado usar os perfis de impressão existentes para respeitar as limitações deste filamento. A impressão deve ser precisa e uniforme, a densidade de preenchimento, a espessura das paredes e o fluxo são parâmetros fundamentais para a segunda etapa do tratamento.
É necessária uma gestão específica dos suportes, e o uso de extrusão dupla será útil para esta parte. Este filamento é compatível com a maioria das impressoras FDM, mas é principalmente recomendado para impressoras profissionais.
Certifique-se de não ultrapassar a temperatura de extrusão recomendada para evitar alta toxicidade.
