A resistência química das suas peças impressas pode ser necessária dependendo das suas aplicações ou ambientes. Existem muitos tipos de plásticos, cada um com suas próprias propriedades de resistência química.
Nesta categoria, agrupamos filamentos que oferecem por padrão uma boa resistência à maioria dos agentes e produtos químicos.
Os filamentos PETG são particularmente adequados para a maioria dos solventes, enquanto os filamentos de PP (polipropileno) também são resistentes a soluções alcalinas e salinas. Eles são frequentemente usados em ambientes químicos e laboratórios.
Os filamentos ASA também são muito valorizados por sua resistência a ácidos e álcalis, além da excelente resistência a UV e umidade. Os filamentos de nylon também apresentam bom desempenho em muitas aplicações.
É útil saber qual plástico é convencionalmente usado para uma necessidade específica para orientar melhor a escolha do seu filamento quando resistência química é necessária.
Dependendo do seu ambiente — gasoso, líquido, oleoso, níveis de temperatura, forças aplicadas — nem sempre é fácil definir o material de impressão 3D perfeito para suas necessidades exatas.
Recomenda-se realizar testes a partir da nossa seleção de filamentos ou, idealmente, considerar os plásticos tradicionalmente usados para aplicações similares na indústria convencional.
